SECOND ASIAN HORNET NEST IS TAKEN AWAY

A SECOND Asian hornet nest has been removed by National Park and Wildlife Service rangers as the organisation urges the public to keep reporting sightings.

Following the removal of the first nest in Cork city, residents in Cobh spotted the invasive hornets buzzing through their gardens, leading the NPWS to conduct further investigations.
