Heimir undecided on Seamus gamble for key Armenia clash

- BY PAUL O'HEHIR

HEIMIR HALLGRIMSSON is agonising over handing Seamus Coleman a second Ireland start in quick succession.

Coleman was controversially overlooked for the September draw with Hungary and the nightmare defeat in Yerevan to tomorrow's opponents Armenia.

But on his 37th birthday, the Everton star returned to the squad and rolled back the years with a top-class defensive display in Saturday's last-gasp 1-0 defeat to Portugal in Lisbon.

Coleman was frustrated to be left out last month and insists there are no concerns over his sharpness, despite only making four club appearances this season.

"I believe in myself and I have fire in my belly to perform. If I'm training well at club level, I always think I can give something to Ireland," said Coleman in Lisbon.
