Neil Mulholland’s (above) eight-year-old began last season with a 15-length second to Hyland in a novice chase at this fixture before going one better in a handicap chase at the November meeting.

He didn’t add to that tally but Transmission still has the scope to do better after just five outings over fences and a BHA mark of 132 - he receives 15Ib from Hyland - looks within range.
