A NINTH defendant has denied causing £1 million of damage at a factory in Sandwich allegedly targeted by protest group Palestine Action.

Activists are alleged to have filmed themselves breaking into Instro Precision at the Discovery Park in the early morning of June 17, 2024, and then throwing stock to the ground and smashing computers with a crowbar.

On Friday last week Julija Brigadirova, 33, from Manchester, denied criminal damage, burglary with intent, and violent disorder, during a hearing at the Old Bailey before Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb.

At a previous hearing, eight other defendants had denied the same charges.
