Certain leisure and culture venues across South Lanarkshire will be closed for the 2026 Scottish Parliament Election on Thursday, May 7.

Votes will be tallied at the John Wright Sports Centre in East Kilbride
Some facilities across the region will be shut for normal operations on election day to allow residents to vote.
The list of facilities closed on election day is as follows:
East Kilbride: Ballerup Recreation Area Pavilion, Alistair McCoist Complex, East Kilbride Arts Centre.
