Town ended 2025 with a return to winning ways as they thumped Rushall Olympic 5-1 at the New Manor Ground in the NPL Premier Division.It was the Robins' first win since beating Stockton Town 4-0 at the start of November.
Robbie Fox opened the scoring for Ilkeston in the 20th minute of the Boxing Day encounter against Rushall and Jamie Walker's close-range finish made it 2-0 in the 35th.
And the Robins had plenty of breathing space at the break as Matt Thornhill made it 3-0 in first-half stoppage time.
