Double celebration for medical hosiery firm

CREDENHILL, one of the UK’s leading suppliers and online retailers of compression hosiery and medical garments, is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and marking 40 years of being headquartered in Ilkeston.

The highly respected company has grown from selling a single range of compression hosiery from a small office on Percy Street in central London in 1955, to supporting NHS healthcare professionals and patients across the country.

Credenhill currently employs 36 people from the surrounding area and over the years has provided jobs to many more.

During the past seven decades, the company has evolved to meet the changing needs of the healthcare sector, ensuring that patients receive the best possible support for conditions such as venous disorders, lymphoedema, leg ulcers, pregnancy-related swelling and post-surgical recovery.
