A FOUL-mouthed parrot has been ruffling feathers in a pub by swearing its beak off and telling customers "you're barred".

Rio, a two-year-old South American macaw, has been squawking a string of obscenities at punters at The Clifton Hotel.

The local celebrity has lived at the pub since he was a chick and learned his X-rated one-liners from regulars.
