Tuchel's Premier purpose

THOMAS TUCHEL says England are on their way to playing like a Premier League team.

Tuchel has previously targeted getting the Three Lions to perform like a club side because he thinks it will give them a chance of winning the World Cup next summer.

From his early days as England boss, he has insisted the competition, physical nature and intensity of the Premier League makes it the toughest in the world.

Tuchel - who has been in the role for 10 months - believes playing like the best Premier League teams as well as using long throws and set-pieces will make “Team England” a match for anyone.

“We are getting there,” said Tuchel.
