Britain's leading trainer broke new ground with the seven-figure sum when Protektorat bounded away with the Fitzdares Fleur De Lys Chase at Windsor last Sunday.

Skelton is more than £650,000 in front of 14-time champion Paul Nicholls and further ahead of third-placed Nicky Henderson.
