CLARETS ARE THE BLANK OF ENGLAND

JAMES TRAFFORD insists Burnley are working overtime to solve their goal problems after firing blanks for the third time in four games.

Another shut-out meant keeper Trafford (above) extended the club record to 734 minutes without conceding.

But problems at the other end of the pitch are stalling the Clarets' promotion push.

Scott Parker's side lie third but have scored just 36 league goals - 24 fewer than leaders Leeds.

Trafford said: "We're doing everything we can, we put in a lot of hours on the training field to score goals and the fact of the matter is these teams are really good defensively.
