Signs are good for Capaldi at Glasto

LEWIS Capaldi surprised fans with the release of his first new material in two years as he prepares to play Glastonbury's “secret slot" tonight.

The much-loved singer from Whitburn, in West Lothian who took an “extended break” from music two years ago to focus on his physical and mental health dropped powerful single Survive at midnight.

It charts his turmoil that led him to step back from making music.

The release bodes well for the singer who first achieved success in 2019 with breakthrough single Someone You Loved, which remained No.1 for seven weeks
