WOMAN GETS APOLOGY OVER 'FAULTY' FRIDGE FREEZER

A WOMAN was left furious by the time it took to fix her 'faulty' fridge freezer.

Carol Jones, of Flint, bought the appliance in March but claims there have been problems with the door not closing properly.

She says she has had 'three unsuccessful repairs' and claimed Currys initially refused to give her a refund.

Currys has now apologised and offered Mrs Jones a refund.

Mrs Jones, 79, said she bought the Kenwood fridge freezer from the Currys store on the Deva retail park in Chester on March 24.

It was to be installed into an integrated cabinet.
