Cancer sufferer left heartbreaking note before suicide leap with wife

A CANCER sufferer who leapt to his death left behind a note saying that his wife wanted to join him for their "final journey together".

David Jeffcock, 84, penned the letter to his solicitor, saying: "Sorry about this, but Susan wants to come with me."

David's nephew Kevin Shepherd, 66, said he believes the devoted couple had carefully planned a suicide pact.

On July 30, David left the note explaining their drastic actions in Whitby, North Yorks.
