Transylvania on top summer holiday wish-list as Brits eye unusual places

WISH you were fear... Transylvania is one of the offbeat places Brits want to go on holiday to this year.

Other lesser visited spots on people's top getaway wish-lists include Rovaniemi in Finland and Panama City.

But the number one destination is the more usual Italian island of Sardinia, followed by Portugal's Madeira, then the Outer Hebrides.

The top 10 for summer breaks also includes Lapland in Finland - better known as a winter go-to - and the island of Gozo.
