NEARLY 380 nightclubs have closed in five years as venues fight rising bills and the cost-of-living crisis.

The number of clubs in the UK has dropped from 1,240 in 2020 to 863 today - a 30% fall.

Rekom UK, the country’s largest nightclub operator and owner of the Atik and Pryzm chains, collapsed last February.
