Firat spotted cancer on teenager Owen's neck

TALK about a close shave... a trip to the barber for Owen Norgrove turned out to be a lifesaver.

Firat Davutoglu spotted a lump on the 17-year-old’s neck while giving him a haircut and suggested he see a doctor to have it checked out.

And Owen was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma last January.

The agricultural apprentice is now in remission after five months of gruelling chemotherapy and hopes to be given the all clear next June.

Owen and Firat were this week reunited for the first time since the lump was spotted in 2023.
