LAM HAILS A ZAMM DAMN GOOD DEAL
Daily Mirror UK
|January 02, 2026
PAT LAM has tied Louis Rees-Zammit down to a long-term deal and then ordered his Bristol side to make the most of their sharpest shooter.
Rees-Zammit (above) lines up at fullback tonight on the back of committing his future to the West Country outfit as Bears take on bogey team Sale.
The 24-year-old was on a one-year contract after coming back in the summer, having tried to crack the NFL, and was linked with a move to rebel league R360, but that tournament is on the back burner.
He has scored three tries in his last two Prem outings, the highlight being a stunning kick-and-chase touchdown in the 40-14 Twickenham rout of Harlequins on December 20.
And Bears boss Lam has ordered his squad: Feed the Welshman enough ammunition and he will hit the bullseye.
