Mum shopped drug dealer son after finding a gun in his room

A TEENAGE drug dealer who fantasised about a "gangster lifestyle" was jailed after his mum found a gun while tidying his bedroom and called police.

Owen Walker, then 19, had wrapped the modified pistol in a towel and hid it in his room at the family home.

Last December, his mum found the weapon and called 999 before phoning Walker's father, who brought him back to the property in Worcester, where he was arrested.

The gun was seized and a mobile phone, with messages linking him to drug dealing, was also found by police.

Knife

He was bailed but less than eight months later he was caught selling drugs while carrying a knife.

Walker, who had no previous convictions, admitted a string of charges including possession of a firearm and ammunition and possession of a knife.
