Strictly's Krishnan shows he's up for a right song and dance

STRICTLY breaking news... Krishnan Guru-Murthy's a natural performer, as this hilarious schoolboy hula effort proves.

At 17, the hard-nosed Channel 4 newsreader and Come Strictly contender performed Dancing in South Pacific at Queen Grammar Elizabeth's School, in Blackburn.

The dad-of-two, 53, said: "I had to do a song and dance number but a kind of comedy one, where you're playing a bloke dressing up as a woman.

"I don't think have done like anything that since."

He observed: "It's kind of a weird thing, Strictly. You regress into your childhood and reach back into the dark recesses of being of young, and performing fewer inhibitions.
