Arrest after armed police cordon off town street

ARMED officers descended on a town as a man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and false imprisonment.
Residents in the Graig area of Pontypridd reported seeing a large number of officers and police vehicles being sent to the scene on Saturday evening.
Cordons were also put in place near High Street which are understood to have remained in place until the early hours of Sunday, October 5.
