A 27-YEAR-OLD woman died in a fall after a long battle with alcoholism, Gwent coroner's court has heard.

Nicola Jones, from Blackwood, had a "problematic relationship" with alcohol since 2016 after friends died in a car accident, said coroner Caroline Saunders.
Ms Jones' alcohol consumption "spiralled out of control" and by late 2021 she was drinking up to two litres of vodka a day, the coroner added.
"Louisa also suffered from poor mental health, a situation made worse by her continued use of alcohol," said Ms Saunders.
