Suburban Searle strikes twice as Redbridge boost Premier Division title bid
Bristol Post
|October 30, 2025
ONE point separates the top five sides in the Premier Division. Leaders Wessex Wanderers were without a game, which allowed unbeaten Warmley Redbridge to join them in pole position courtesy of a first-half brace from Ed Searle at home to Easton Cowboys. Endrit Dosti replied for the Cowboys.
Four first-half goals at The Field helped third-placed Almondsbury Reserves to a 5-1 victory over St Aldhelms. Kieran Burpitt, Daniel Davis, Toby Bennett and Toby Kellett were the Almondsbury marksmen in the first half, and Davis completed his double early in the second half.
In an exciting game at the BAWA, Jamaica Bell and Southmead CS Athletic shared six goals.
One goal was enough to earn three points for Phoenix NG at SGS Stadium against Stoke Gifford United Reserve, and Henbury & Rockleaze Reserves stayed a point behind the leaders with a 2-0 home win over Avonmouth Reserves.
The top two teams in the Senior Division maintained their 100 per cent records. AFC Bohemia had a staggering 9-1 win against Hartcliffe FC at Creswicke Road.
Second-placed Filton Athletic Reserves joined them at the top, as first-half goals from Liam Dart and Reece Whelan were enough to beat Mendip Broadwalk Reserves.
