Refurbished hall's well suited as a welcoming space for town's youth

HEALTH and wellbeing charity Tonic Health, in collaboration with Boston Borough Council and Boston Police, has announced the opening of the Boston Youth Hub - a vibrant, safe, and welcoming space for the town’s young people, located in the newly refurbished Pescod Hall.

Responding to feedback from local young people who voiced concerns about having nowhere to go after school, at weekends, and during school holidays, Tonic Health was tasked with finding a solution.

With generous support from the Richard Lake High Sheriff Fund, Lincolnshire Community Foundation, and Platform Housing Group's Community Fund, the former Mediterranean restaurant - closed for nearly three years - has been brought back to life as a refreshing and engaging youth space.

The Boston Youth Hub features:

■Comfortable lounge and café areas

Pool table, table tennis and darts

■Large screen TV and two Xbox consoles
