Road's cameras catching 60 speeding drivers every day

THE West Midlands roads where drivers are most often caught by speed cameras has been revealed.

Data obtained by the Birmingham Mail shows the main hotspots are in and around Birmingham city centre, while some of the busiest roads in the Black Country also make the list.

The number one location for fines is the A4540 New John Street West.

Almost 8,900 vehicles were clocked speeding on the route, which runs between Hockley Circus and Dartmouth Circus, in the first half of 2025 - roughly 60 every day on average.
