Thai citizenship revoked for Kok An's three children
Bangkok Post
|November 14, 2025
The Interior Ministry has revoked the Thai citizenship of a son and two daughters of Kok An, a notorious Cambodian senator allegedly linked to crimes from gambling to human trafficking, money laundering and online scams.
-
The ministry's Department of Provincial Administration said yesterday that evidence showed the three — Kittisak, Phu Cherlin and Juree Klongkitkol — had illegally obtained citizenship through a couple who were not their biological parents.
The department did not name the couple, but earlier reports identified them as Boonlieng and his wife, Amphai.
They registered the births of Kok An's children between May and June 1990, claiming that the three were not born in hospitals.
