New Japanese research suggests that carbonated water may help promote weight loss by lowering blood glucose levels and helping keep blood sugar levels stable. Without large spikes or dips to blood sugar, the body can burn fat more efficiently. While the scientists say that sparkling water alone is unlikely to lead to significant weight loss, it can’t hurt to add some to your daily routine, since every little bit helps.
