Farmer Bert's pineapple property in Wamuran, QLD has seen its fair share of prickly situations since Brooke, Caitlin and Karli arrived on the scene to try and win his heart. But it seems all that pales in comparison to the drama that's about to unfold.

It's been reported that Bert will be leaving Farmer Wants A Wife this week alone. His sudden departure blindsides his three ladies, and leaves them wondering if they ever truly knew Bert, or if he was perhaps putting on a front.

"What happens has the girls shocked," says one TV insider. "And as a result, they sort of feel like they never got the chance to meet 'the real Bert'.

"Clearly, he was telling them one thing but feeling another way entirely."
