Two decades on from their son’s murder, Bruce and Denise Morcombe have foiled a potential attack on their 6-year-old grandson by an online predator.
Young Winston was using global gaming platform Roblox on his iPad when he mentioned to his grandparents that a man had been messaging him.
Alarm bells instantly rang for the Morcombes, whose 13-year-old son Daniel was abducted and killed in December 2003 while heading to the local shopping centre. They’ve since devoted their lives to child safety education.
