Electrified, but Still a Mini

I WILL ADMIT IT straight away: I'm not a cheerleader for EVs in South Africa. Too few functioning chargers, too much range anxiety, too little spontaneity.

But this one... this one felt different.

On tar, the Mini Aceman SE is a lot of fun. With that typical go-kart driving feel, it's agile, playful and quick to react exactly how a Mini should behave.

It's the first electric car I've driven that actually mimics the character of it's petrol equivalent and somehow keeps the ICE soul alive, albeit in a turbo-faked turbine vibe (internal combustion feel without the combustion).
