THE YEAR 2026, which is the year of the fire horse in the Chinese calendar, is undoubtedly the Reverso's time to shine.

After all, the timepiece was conceived to withstand the rigours of polo and the horses thundering down the field, mallets dangerously close to these equine beasts and their jockeys.

So, Jaeger-LeCoultre knew it had to pull out all the stops. And it did. The Reverso Tribute Enamel 'Horse' is the watchmaker at its most magnificent. First presented late last year at the Dream Shaper exhibition in Shanghai, the watch isn't so much for telling time as it is for stopping it—at least when you see it in the flesh. It's the fourth in a series that pays homage to the Chinese Zodiac following the tiger, dragon, and snake.
