Landau worked with director James Cameron on cinema's biggest hits

Being the co-creator of billion-dollar movie hits never turned Jon Landau into a brash Hollywood stereotype. Instead, said his longtime friend and production partner, director James Cameron, who once joked that the two were like an old married couple: "He produced great films, not by wielding power but by spreading warmth and the joy of making cinema.... A part of myself has been torn away."
