Before I joined Blue Peter, I told the producers how amazing I was with animals but I’d actually never had a pet before, so I was really not accustomed to handling or being around animals at all. In the audition, I had to interview a ferret handler who was holding the ferret, and it was really docile because I was the last audition of the day. So it was amazing and went so smoothly that I ended up getting the job.
