1 x 50g (125m) ball of Scheepjes Catona 4ply (100% cotton) in each of Cream (Bridal White 105), Orange (Royal Orange 189), Turquoise (Cyan 397), Pale Pink (Icy Pink 246), Red (Hot Red 115) and Fuchsia (Shocking Pink 114); oddments of Navy (Ultramarine 124)*. Yarn is available from theknittingnetwork.co.uk. Size 3mm crochet hook; washable toy stuffing, strong twig; reel of clear nylon string; cord.

ABBREVIATIONS

Ch(s), chain(s); st(s), stitch(es); htr, half treble crochet; dc, double crochet; htr2tog, work 2 htr sts together (to decrease 1 st) thus: [yarn round hook, insert hook in next st, yarn round hook and pull loop through] twice, yarn round hook and pull through all 5 loops on hook; ss, slip stitch.
