How to Focus on Your Form and Become More Efficient

And while a few factors play crucial roles in helping you become more consistent-like landing on the right training routine and learning what gear works best for you-the most important thing is developing proper running form. If you were a baseball player, you'd put in the time to work on your stance and swing, so why wouldn't you make the effort to focus on your running form?

Now, everyone's form is slightly unique. You might watch elite runners and pick up on some quirky tendencies, or maybe you've noticed your running buddy has a slightly different style that doesn't feel natural to you. But if you follow a couple of core tenets while practicing form, you'll improve your performance and efficiency, plus reduce your risk of injury. I always try to keep these tips in mind when I'm running, especially when I'm tired at the end of a long run or race.
