Step up to WorldTour-ready team is reward for young Brit’s impressive season

After an impressive 2019, Anna Henderson will spend 2020 riding with the sport’s elite after signing her first professional contract with Team Sunweb.
The Dutch squad are one of eight teams to have applied to be among the first Women’s WorldTeams next year, giving guaranteed access to all the top races, and affording Henderson the opportunity to continue her meteoric rise.
Beginning her racing career in 2016, the 20-year-old closed 2019 by winning World Championship bronze in the mixed team relay, and finishing top Brit in the road race, giving her confidence ahead of her winter preparations.
