Rolls-Royce releases its sexiest-ever model dawn in a southeast asia debut in singapore.

Rolls-Royce was always about refinement, luxury and a silky smooth flying carpet driving experience. Its flagship is the almost six meters long Phantom the benchmark for the ultimate luxury sedan. As dynamic as a luxury car can be, the brand is now giving options for a more dynamic audience, with its new Black series and its newest convertible, the Dawn. ForbesLife Indonesia was one of a few media to experience in March a pre-production model of the Dawn and the Southeast Asia debut of the model at Sentosa Island, Singapore. The super luxury convertible which Rolls calls a drophead aims to replace the successful Phantom Drop head Coupe that ended production last November. The name Dawn is derived from the Silver Dawn drophead model of the 1950s. “Singapore is the perfect place for the debut of the model, as it’s a place where many young and affluent individual live,” says Paul Harris, regional director for Asia Pacific of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

The model at the event showcased how it can be more alluring to younger customers, as it comes with a more relaxed white paint yet a luxurious silver hood and grey soft top. To top it off, it comes with a funky Spirit of Ecstasy made of translucent ceramic rather than the standard chrome finish. The Dawn is shorter by 0.3 meters than the Phantom Drophead Coupe that will make it more convenient to be driven, and can still comfortably accommodate two adult passengers in the back seat. “The new Dawn is more casual and relaxed, it’s the ultimate beautiful luxury,” Paul says. “So many convertibles in this segment are compromised, but this one doesn’t compromise.”
