Over a period of 12 days in the early half of October, more than 50,000 people gathered across a line-up of more than 50 events at Archifest 2017, where they engaged in discussions and debates on architectural issues with other like-minded individuals. Organised by the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), the annual architecture festival was built upon the pillars of Archi-Interfaces, Conference, Conversations, Archicraft and Architours, focusing on the facilitation and building up of agency and citizen participation through architecture.
