HEARTSICK Tom Cruise has been licking his wounds after actress Hayley Atwell snipped their blossoming romance in the bud, according to insiders.

The Scientology poster boy, 59, had hoped to make his “Mission: Impossible” co-star, 39, his fourth wife, sources said, and he’s pleading with her to reconsider.

“Hayley’s tried to let Tom down slowly by saying she’s not ready for anything serious and it’s her fault not his, but Tom’s begging her to stick with him,” tattled a snitch.
