TROUBLED Heather Thompson went from an angel of mercy to the angel of death when the Tennessee nurse fatally shot her two young sons and grandmother before taking her own life with the same gun, according to authorities who are calling the bloodbath a quadruple murder-suicide.

Deputies with the Humphreys County Sheriff's Office found the lifeless bodies of Heather, 32, Arius Thompson, 4, Isaiah Johnson, 13, and Evelyn Johnson, 88, on Jan. 2 during a welfare check at the family's Waverly, Tenn., home.
