퓨어 크리스탈은 서울 종로에 위치한 부띠크호텔인 호텔 더 디자이너스의 특별한 하나의 객실로 디자인되었다. 서울의 유서 깊은 도심 종로에 위치한 호텔의 퓨어 크리스탈은 단위면적당 이윤을 극대화 해야 하는 숙박업소라는 필요조건과“전통과 현대가 공존하는 세계에서 가장 다이나믹한 도시 서울을 경험하고자 하는 여행자의 기대”라는
충분조건을 디자인적인 방법으로 성공적으로 충족시켰다. 건물 사이의 간격이 좁아 창문을 낼 수 없는 이 지역 건물의 구조적 약점을 빛이 녹아있는 공간과 오브제의 형상크리스탈을 모티브로 한 디자인의 창의성으로 포근하고 세련된 공간으로 변화시켰다.
