When we celebrate the program of Universal Brotherhood Day, our Sampark Karya of ‘Vivekananda Shila Samarak: Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat’; would have just begun, hence the focus of our public program also should be the same. All the Karyakartas, members of the Sampark Toli and also whom all we have already listed for Sampark and our general list of all the invitees for the function could be called for the celebration of the Universal Brotherhood Day. In it we can show the film on Vivekananda Rock Memorial or the film on Eknathji of 22 minutes duration the one which we had shown in Mananeeya Eknathji Janma Shati Parva. The main topic for the celebration should be ‘Vivekananda Shila Samarak: Ek Bharat Vijayi Bharat’. Generally, when some endeavour faces difficulties there is a clash. Some are for it and some are against it and some want the things to be done differently. Thus ultimately when the task is done some feel they have won and some persons feel they have lost. But if larger vision is put forward, and the persons involved are brought to focus on the larger vision then the smaller shells of identity like ‘I come from this region or community or creed’ or ‘my opinion is such and such and that has to be accepted’ etc. are broken. And everyone is focused on the larger goal. But for that, one has to work with pure motives and no thought of personal gains be behind the work undertaken. With patience and perseverance if one strives he or she will succeed. But, then in this, the success is not personal but it is ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina’; it is a win-win situation. No one looses but everyone is elevated by focusing on the higher goal, striving for it and in the process elevating oneself. That is what the story of construction of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial tells us.
