Highlights of India Plus magazine dated November 1, 2012. The issue looks at how India's urban youngster are raising a toast to all occasions and how problem drinking is on an upsurge. The issue also looks at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's recent announcements to revive the economy and how it will take some time before the economy gets out of its sluggish mode and into a higher, faster growth gear. With winter setting in, most tiger sanctuaries in India have thrown open their gates. The issue looks at a family of tigers in Ranthambhore as part of a travel destination. Also in the issue is Salman Rushdie, who, in his latest book, Joseph Anton, tells the story of living in the shadow of death in a style that matches the best of his novels. The issue also highlights six "outsiders" who came in from the cold in Bollywood and quietly and quickly shot to stardom.
