Balancing roles as a housemaid and an attendant at a petrol pump, she persevered. Today, she stands as a distinguished football coach and organizer on the global stage.

At 35 years old, Anju’s dream of representing India in international football was left unfulfilled, yet she carved out a commendable career as an internationally renowned coach and organizer. She stands as India’s first female international-level coach and the youngest woman to hold an AFC ‘A’ licence. Her contributions extend to her role as the technical head of FIFA’s Mission 11 Million.
