Somerset aiming to end on a high note

SOMERSET bring the curtain down on their successful 2025 season with a County Championship clash at Essex knowing that a win for them and defeat for Surrey would see them finish in second place.
Having won the Vitality T20 Blast against Hampshire earlier this month, it has been another season of success for the Cidermen, with that trophy win their second T20 title in three years.
The search for a maiden County Championship crown continues, though, with Nottinghamshire looking the favourites to land that crown - and victory for them in their four-day clash with Warwickshire at Trent Bridge will guarantee them the title.
