Infantino issues 'big risk' warning to Euro Leagues

La Liga and Serie A are given 'reluctant permission' to play league games overseas
FOOTBALL is taking a “big risk” by playing domestic league matches overseas, FIFA president Gianni Infantino has said.
LaLiga and Serie A have been given reluctant approval by UEFA to take a match each overseas this season, with FIFA required to give the plan the final green light.
Villarreal and Barcelona are poised to play in Miami in December, while AC Milan and Como have a match lined up in Perth, Australia, in February.
Infantino, speaking to reporters at the European Football Clubs (EFC) General Assembly in Rome, said:
