'Local tourism at a tipping point'
Western Gazette
|May 01, 2025
THE leader of the Liberal Democrats has said that tourism is the lifeblood of many communities across the South West. But he warned the cost of living crisis has reduced footfall and left basic running costs spiralling out of control.
-

The move comes as the Liberal Democrats warned that the government's planned National Insurance increase could “devastate” tourism across the South West.
