ENGLAND'S Michelle Agyemang will miss the rest of the season after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament injury in the match against Australia on Tuesday.

- ANDY SIMS

The Lionesses' 3-0 friendly triumph at Pride Park was overshadowed by Agyemang having to be carried off on a stretcher. The 19-year-old came on as a second-half substitute but went down clutching her knee in an off-the-ball incident.

Boss Sarina Wiegman said after the game: "It was an awful moment, and doesn’t look good. I’m not very positive about what I saw."
