Warning of Brussels shortage before Xmas

BRUSSELS sprouts could be off the menu on Christmas Day amid a predicted shortage.

Farmers say climate change means crops of broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels will be worst than usual, meaning prices could rise in supermarkets.

Trade paper Fresh Press reported: “The market continues to increase as supplies become lighter coupled with strong demand.
