Dad got married days before he passed away

- Thomas Cooper

A CANCER-hit dad-of-four married his partner in hospital just days before he passed away.

Aaron Lee Wareham died peacefully at home on April 26 after being discharged from the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

The 38-year-old was diagnosed with stage four melanoma in October after discovering a 'black lump' on his back.

Doctors told Aaron that the disease had spread to his lymph nodes, lungs and kidneys - and that he was 'looking at weeks to months'.

He spent the last week of his life in the Royal Stoke where he wed his partner of five years, 27-year-old Danielle.

The ceremony was held on the ward, attended by the couple's closest family and friends.

Danielle, of Chell said: "He was very confused and kept falling over.
